Ashton's fundraising achievement

Year 8 student, Ashton Berry raises money for the NHS by climbing Mount Everest in his home!

Well done to Ashton who has raised £595 for the NHS. Ashton wanted to raise money after the NHS looked after a family member and also to challenge himself. He worked out the exact amount of flights of stairs he would need to climb to equate to that of climbing Mount Everest - something he would like to do in the future!

Ashton climbed up the stairs 3,249 times over a 13 day period, averaging 250 flights per day!

What an achievement!

3,249 flights equates to 42,237 steps climbed!! We are all very proud of Ashton.
