Sixth Form students who are studying ICT, Business Studies or Economics have recently visited the capital to see how their subjects affect different organisations in reality.
They had a busy two days in London which saw them visit the BBC Broadcasting House to take part in a tour and talk. They also went to Chelsea Football Club for a workshop on how Business and ICT is used within the football club and this included a tour of the ground. There was also time to take in some famous London landmarks such as Big Ben, Downing Street, Buckingham Palace and Harrods and they enjoyed an evening meal at the Hard Rock Café.
The group also went to Thorpe Park where they took part in another workshop to see how they run the business and how they use ICT within the organisation. They also had the opportunity to enjoy some of the rides.
An enjoyable and informative trip which all the students found beneficial to help with their studies. They were a credit to themselves and the Academy. Click here for pictures from the trip.
