Make Your Mark with a TENNER UPDATE

17/03/10

The Forum for Innovation has received several applications for tenners from students who wish to start up their own business. These students have been given up to £20 to help them to get their business off the ground.

There is still time for YOU to apply for a tenner. Some examples of ideas from successful applicants:

  • Selling gingerbread men with football shirts made of icing for the World Cup (BA66)
  • The Support Centre's card making business
  • A Dance event in the hall (Dancing King Promotions)

All you need to do is fill in a business plan which you can download below and then present your idea to the investment panel. Help with filling in the business plan is available from the Forum for Innovation. Once you have completed your business plan, submit it to Mr Strafford in D3-5 or by email: r.strafford@maltbyacademy.com The only rule is that you must have made at least £10 back by the end of April to pay your loan back.

Good luck!
